Mask workshop and events

EXPERIENCES:

1) MASK WORKSHOP:

The Mask Workshop is a unique creative experience held in our authentic artisan bottega. During the lab, participants will paint and decorate a real mask, guided step-by-step by our master craftswomen.

🖌️ In a welcoming and traditional atmosphere, you will discover the ancient techniques of mask-making and decoration. Experiment with colors, materials, and fine Venetian accessories to create a unique, personal piece to take home.

• 🕐 DURATION: 1h – 1.5h at our workshop (also available at other locations).

• 🚸 FOR EVERYONE: Suitable for all ages!

• 🔽 LANGUAGES: Italian and English spoken.

• 📖 WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: During the course, we share the history of the Venetian mask and the ancient techniques of the Commedia dell'Arte.

• 🏡 WHAT YOU TAKE HOME: Your own handcrafted papier-mâché mask decorated during the workshop and an official certificate of participation.

• 🪙 COST: 45 Euro for person, including the papiermache decorated mask during the class

Our workshop is designed for individuals, groups, schools, and companies. We offer private events, team-building activities, birthdays, and weddings. We collaborate with various partners to create tailor-made experiences rich in local culture and craftsmanship. 2) DEMONSTRATIONS & STORYTELLING

We host live demonstrations in our atelier, showing how authentic papier-mâché masks are created using original historical molds. We will guide you through the artisan techniques passed down from generation to generation.

3) PRIVATE EVENTS & TEAM BUILDING

We organize Mask Workshops and demonstrations for private events, birthday parties, themed celebrations, weddings, bachelorette parties, and masquerade balls. Every experience is designed to let your guests feel the true spirit of Venice!

From themed parties in luxury Venetian locations to our "Aperimask"—a signature experience combining mask decoration with a refined Italian aperitivo—every proposal is modular and tailor-made. We also host creative birthday parties for both adults and children, where every guest creates their own custom mask.
